The Shorter Kawaguchiko Cycling Route
If you want a relaxed ride rather than a full day of cycling, you can turn back after Oishi Park and make your way towards Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge.
Cross the bridge and return to NaturaBase on the southern side.
This gives you a satisfying loop with some of the lake’s best scenery without committing to the entire circumference.
Allow extra time for stops, photographs and sightseeing. The exact distance and riding time will depend on where you stop and which lakeside roads you use.

The Full Lake Kawaguchiko Cycling Loop
If you have more time and energy, continue around the lake. Complete the full loop.
The complete circuit is roughly 20–26 km depending on the route, and is generally manageable for reasonably active riders, particularly with an electric-assist bicycle.
The reward is seeing the landscape from every direction: quiet stretches of shoreline, forests, small parks, mountain views and different perspectives of Fuji.
Rather than treating the ride as a race, allow several hours so you can stop along the way.
