Great kayak trip on Lake Kawaguchiko We had a lovely time kayaking on Lake Kawaguchiko. The lake and mountains were magnificent with wispy clouds breaking along the ridge lines-it was very pretty, though Mount Fuji was a little shy on the day. Our guide, CJ, entertained us with interesting insights about the area and answered our many questions with ease. The water was quite high due to rain, so we were able to paddle around Rokkakudo, the small hexagonal hall on the shore, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommended, and we'd love to go again.

extremely disappointed The customer service here was extremely disappointing. When I tried to rent an e-bike for 1,800 yen (3 hours), a female staff member told me it was cash only, so I went to the Lawson ATM next door to withdraw money. Because it was morning and I was a bit dazed, I mistakenly assumed I had withdrawn 2,000 yen without checking closely, but I had actually withdrawn two 10,000-yen bills, totaling 20,000 yen. I handed that 20,000 yen directly to the staff member, but she gave me only 200 yen in change. Later, when I withdrew another 10,000 yen from the ATM to pay the extension fee, I checked my bank account history and realized for the first time that what I had withdrawn that morning was 20,000 yen, not 2,000 yen. Furthermore, when I handed her that 10,000-yen bill to pay the extension fee, she initially gave me only 400 yen back. The correct change should have been 9,600 yen. Only after I pointed out that I had given her 10,000 yen did she return an additional 9,000 yen. Having this happen twice with the exact same staff member felt extremely suspicious and completely unacceptable. While I do not have a receipt as proof for the initial 20,000 yen, I do have the ATM transaction record showing that I withdrew 20,000 yen. The only reason I used cash was because this shop accepted cash only. Due to the language barrier, I tried to explain the situation to the store manager using Google Translate, but ultimately, the remaining change owed to me from the beginning (18,200 yen) was never refunded at all, and I had to leave because I was pressed for time. I strongly urge the management in charge to check the security camera footage and register audit records. It was a deeply unpleasant and disappointing experience. 非常に残念な対応でした。 3時間1,800円のe-bikeをレンタルしようとしたところ、女性スタッフから現金払いのみと言われ、隣のローソンATMで現金を引き出しました。朝で頭がぼーっとしており、よく確認せずに2,000円を引き出したと思い込んでいましたが、実際には10,000円札2枚、合計20,000円を引き出していました。その20,000円をそのままスタッフに渡したところ、スタッフは200円しかお釣りを渡しませんでした。その後、延長料金を支払うために再度ATMで10,000円を引き出した際、口座の履歴を見て、午前中に引き出したのが2,000円ではなく20,000円だったことに初めて気づきました。また、延長料金を支払うためその10,000円札を渡した際も、最初は400円しか返されませんでした。本来のお釣りは9,600円です。私が10,000円渡したことを伝えると、その後さらに9,000円を返されました。同じスタッフとの間でこのようなことが2回続いたため、非常に不自然で、納得できない対応だと感じました。最初の20,000円についてはレシートなどの証拠はありませんが、ATMで20,000円を引き出した記録は残っています。現金を使用したのは、この店が現金払いのみだったためです。言葉の問題もあり、店長にもGoogle翻訳を使って状況を説明しましたが、結局、返金されるべき最初のお釣り（18,200円）は一切返金されず、時間がなかったためそのまま店を離れざるを得ませんでした。店舗責任者の方には、ぜひ防犯カメラやレジの残高などを確認していただきたいです。非常に不快で、残念な経験でした。

Great guide, wonderful experience Great experience rather than just passively going on a boat on the lake. Grahame is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the history. We had wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommended . Family friendly too.

Book it! It’s worth every penny. Grahame put on a great tour and is a solid dude! He’s a wealth of knowledge and we had such a great time talking with him while taking in the views of Fujisan.

Great Family Activity A relaxed, peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable time on the lake. Our guide was great, super knowledgeable about the area and happy to answer all sorts of questions from our kids. Got lucky with perfectly clear skies and amazing views of Fuji.

Wonderful Experience with a Great Guide I had such a great time kayaking on lake with Grahame! He was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide, and I felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the whole experience. We had really interesting conversations, and he also took some lovely photos for me. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxed and memorable time on the lake!

Amazing experience with varied family group! Graeme and CJ were incredible! We had an amazing time out on the water, had an easy time paddling even with a family member terrified of water, an offensive lineman weighing kayaks down, and a 3 year old and we were effortlessly managed and shown all the highlights of Kawaguchiko lake life! I cannot recommend this group enough! They also provided some incredible pics of us on the water! Really full service!

Kayaking with the best views of Mount Fuji Kayaking with coffee and the best views of Mount Fuji was a great experience, well worth an early morning start! Grahame was an excellent guide and gave us a good introduction to the area, plus recommendations on other cool sports to explore. Highly recommend this activity!
